Relaunch the link space

November 24, 2005
I have done some modification on the site. This makes the site more simple and more understandable for new visitors coming across the site. Even you are a subscriber reading in your aggregator, you are encouraged to visit the site to find more about what I am doing here.

I am going to update the site again. There’s quite a lot links in my OneNote. I think this spaces is the better place to store them. Why I don’t put them into online bookmark site is just because simple usage.

I know the site looks bad in firefox. I am a firefox user too. As my new tagline says, the best way to deal with these clips is to search not browse.

Content
Filtering and Security

http://www.freedom-to-tinker.com/?p=854

A
company called Audible Magic is trying to sell "content filtering" systems to
universities and companies. The company’s CopySense product is a computer that
sits at the boundary between an organization’s internal network and the
Internet.

CopySense
boxes run general-purpose operating systems, so they are prone to security bugs
that could allow an outsider to seize control of them.
